Proven Effective
Ecast has had unparalleled success in music recommendation. Recent
successes with new releases include a promotion of Tim McGraw’s
Greatest Hits Volume 2 which led to a seven-fold increase in
plays and an estimated additional 150,000 audio impressions.
A promotion for Weezer’s Make Believe led to 200,000 additional
audio impressions and saw the album account for 3% of total plays
across the Ecast network. Catalog promotions have also proven
effective, with a promotion of Steve Miller’s Greatest
Hits 74-78 in August of 2006 increasing plays by nearly 15 times
and accounting for approximately 280,000 additional audio impressions.
